Of course, the invisible heroes I’m talking about are parents all around the world. Our mums and dads are the people who are always there to wipe up the incessant spit up when we’re babies, and bail us out of jail when we’re adults. They’re the people who often get almost no thanks for all their hard work. But, it turns out that parents and superheroes can overlap in more ways than one, as it became clear when Gal Gadot and Vin Diesel took an adorable photo together with their children that melted everyone’s hearts. The two former co-stars were hanging out together in the Hollywood Hills when they decided to post a picture of their reunion on social media. In the image Diesel is seen holding his nine-year-hold daughter Hania, while Gadot is snapped bottle-feeding her three-month-old daughter Maya. Underneath the post, which received an incredible 1.6 million likes and over 19,000 shares, The Fate Of The Furious star wrote “When we aren’t playing superheroes… All love”.
However, the post did not come without its fair share of confusion, with some fans jumping to the conclusion that the two movie stars were a couple who had children together. Unfortunately for those who would quite enjoy a superhero union in holy matrimony, Gadot has actually been married to Israeli businessman Yaron Versano for almost nine years, and the couple have two children together – Maya and five-year-old Alma. Diesel has two other kids with girlfriend Paloma Jimenez, six-year-old son Vincent and two-year-old daughter Pauline. In true Wonder Woman style, Gadot was five months pregnant with baby Maya while reshooting Wonder Woman. It’s been a phenomenal year for both actors, who have practically owned the box office together. Wonder Woman, which propelled Gadot into the spotlight, has taken in $318 million stateside and $652 million internationally, making it the highest-grossing live-action motion picture ever with a female director. Not to mention that Diesel’s The Fate of the Furious has taken more than $1.23 internationally, making it the 11th top-earning film of all time. Not bad, not bad at all guys. Gal Gadot and Vin Diesel, proving that parents are true badasses since 2017.
